SUMMARY:April 2018 Chapter Meeting: Behavioral Finance
DESCRIPTION:Overview:\nNature\, Nurture and Financial Planning\n(previously titled Heuristics\, Biases and Nudges – Topics from the Frontier of Financial Planning) \nNeuroscientific research tells us that genetically\, only some people are born to make prudent financial decisions. He received his Ph.D. from the London School of Economics in 1974. In awarding the 2017 Economics Nobel to Richard Thaler\, the Nobel committee highlighted three accomplishments\, of which two involved the work that Thaler and Shefrin did together.
