You will have an hour with a firm owner to pick their brain and learn more about building a career in financial services.  You will also learn more about the various business and compensation models practiced by firms of different types and sizes. Some of the questions we will address are: What are the various roles available within an RIA or B/D? Do you need to have a broker dealer affiliation? What are some of the challenges of joining an ensemble firm versus starting your own? What are the various roles available within a broker/dealer? What is it like working in a branch or as a solo advisor? \nAll are welcome to register! If you feel new to the industry (ex: fresh out of school or as a career changer)\, this is a great opportunity to meet folks with similar experience\, and learn more about financial services.
