FPA CA Advocacy Day Jointly with all CA FPA Chapters & FPANC Pro Bono Planning Session for State Employees
Join us for the 13th Annual FPA California Advocacy Day on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the California State Capitol in Sacramento. This annual event brings together Financial Planning Association (FPA) members from across the state to engage with legislators and regulators, advocating for our profession and its future.
Why Attend?
Advocacy Day is an opportunity to build awareness, foster relationships with key legislators, and play a role in shaping policies affecting financial planning. Whether you are a first-time attendee or a returning participant, your voice is crucial in these conversations.
Event Highlights:
- Meet with your State Assemblymembers and State Senators to discuss financial planning policies.
- Advocate for key issues, including financial literacy, title protection, taxation, and fee structures.
- Participate in pro bono financial planning sessions for legislative staffers.
- Network with fellow FPA members at the pre-event dinner on March 10.
- Receive financial support for hotel and travel expenses (available for the first 30 registrants).
