FPASV Events Calendar

FPA Silicon Valley will be hosting a free public financial planning clinic at the Sunnyvale Library on Saturday, October 9th as part of FPA's Financial Planning Week.  FPA East Bay successfully pioneered this concept in Oakland in 2008 and 2009. Over 250 people were helped by over 40 volunteer advisers.  Many of the questions financial planning volunteers are asked involve nothing more than cash flow or credit card management or making 401(k) investment decisions, and any planner should be well-qualified to answer them.  Even just listening and providing some sympathy to people in hardship can be tremendously valuable to them.  Previous volunteers have characterized this experience as having been extremely rewarding!
