Kent Noard will be conducting an interactive session to cover issues concerning Roth IRA conversions. 2010 will be an important year for the Roth IRA conversion because of the removal of the AGI limitation for such conversions. However, there are significant tax and financial issues that need to be addressed in order to help clients make this difficult, and often not clear-cut, decision. He will discuss how advisers and planners should be working with their clients’ tax professional for the optimal client benefit.
Kent Noard as both a CPA and EA is principal of KLN Financial Group and in private practice since 1981. At UC Santa Cruz Extension he is an instructor and coordinates the PFP Certificate program.
