Featuring Kent Noard, CFP®, EA who will present on "Understanding the Tax Life Cycle of A Real Estate Investment". With many of your clients (still) considering investing in real estate, it is worthwhile for planners and advisers to have an understanding of the tax considerations relative to investment real estate from the time of purchase, through the operations stage (especially the passive loss rules), and to the eventual disposition of the property by either sale or exchange. Through the use of a case study, Kent will provide the attendee with a better understanding of how the tax laws affect real estate investments. He will also provide his insight as to the mistakes clients make when it comes to investing in real estate.
Seating is limited. Please RSVP to Cynthia Riley at cynjriles@aol.com for registration and further information. A $10 fee will be collected at the door.
Kent Noard has been in private practice since 1981 providing tax preparation and planning, and financial planning and consulting.
