Terri Kinsch, CLTC, Genworth Financial
Learn about the new opportunities your clients have resulting from the Pension Protection Act (PPA) of 2006 that allows non-qualified annuity owners to use their annuity to pay for long term care insurance premiums (traditional or the linked benefit plans) tax-free. We will discuss the tax-free exchange rules under IRC Section1035 and also how the PPA can help Retired Public Safety Officers pay for long term care insurance.
