What Impact Does the Pension Protection Act of 2006 Have on Long Term Care Insurance Funding?

Learn about the new opportunities your clients have resulting from the Pension Protection Act (PPA) of 2006 that allows non-qualified annuity owners to use their annuity to pay for long term care insurance premiums (traditional or the linked benefit plans) tax-free. We will discuss the tax-free exchange rules under IRC Section1035 and also how the PPA can help Retired Public Safety Officers pay for long term care insurance.
