There are many real property disposition options to consider before and during a divorce. What option, and the timing of when it is chosen, is critical. Kathryn Hisert with Referral Realty, and David Butler of American Pacific Mortgage, will be outlining these options, the tools used to accomplish them, as well as the risks and advantages of each.
When the Financial Planner understands the clients’ options, and the required timing for each, they will be in the best position to ensure their client’s financial security, as well as continue the portfolio driven relationship. Speakers’ Biographies:
Kathryn Hisert has been a Realtor © for 10 years. She holds certifications as both a Distressed Property Expert and as a Real Estate Divorce Specialist, one of only 10 such certified in California. Her training includes an overview of the legal process, tax regulations and the financial impact of marital dissolutions. Previously, Kathryn was in the financial industry for 18+ years, having been employed by PaineWebber (now UBS), Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
David Butler has over 20 years experience as a mortgage loan consultant. He teaches classes as well as offers seminars on credit repair, home buying, and budget planning. David’s clients range from the first time home buyer to the refinancing of million-dollar-plus homes. Both Kathryn and David are raising families locally.
