The programs committee is responsible for selecting topics and choosing speakers on these topics. Our vision in 2011 is to attract FPA members and guests to attend monthly meetings by presenting inspiring topics from high quality keynote speakers. Delivering high quality programs with excellent content can add value to a planner’s knowledge base.  Also, many events provide continuing education units to help members maintain their certification requirements. By attending monthly meetings, members have the opportunity to network with other attendees.

Meetings

The program committee meets via phone conference, usually once per month.   Once a year, the programs committee has a live “brain storming session” in which all FPA members may attend to give suggestions for topics and speakers.
