Our public relations activities have two primary goals:

• Educate the public about the value of financial planning, including helping to answer questions such as: "when do you need to engage a financial planner" and "what to look for in your planner."
• And establishing the FPA of Silicon Valley chapter as the voice of financial planning among our local media outlets.

We further these goals:

• By promoting the extensive Pro Bono activities provided by our membership within our community,
• By making our CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ membership available for members of the media.
• And by offering financial literacy programs through our local libraries.

Meetings

The Public Relations group meets with our Pro Bono committee every other month to coordinate activities.   We usually meet in Cupertino at Pacific Business Centers - 19925 Stevens Creek Blvd. Check the Calendar for our next meeting.
