Student Forum Meetings are intended for those students at UCSC-Extension who are enrolled in the Personal Financial Planning Program.

Topic: What Are My Career Options?
Speaker: 4-5 Panelists Representing Various Financial Services Employment Choices

Many students approach the end of their education with questions about what type of employment is available for those with a certificate in Personal Financial Planning and/or the CFP® designation.  Please join us for this informative panel where 4-5 newer entrants into the financial services industry will talk about how they determined the path for themselves, what their work entails, and will provide specific advice for attendees. Panelists will be present from the insurance sector, wire house, independent financial planning firm, and the self-employed.  Many of the panelists are former UCSC-Extension students and have launched this phase of their career in the last 12-18 months.

This is a great opportunity to learn from those who have recently launched themselves into the business.
