Student Forum Meetings are intended for those students at UCSC-Extension who are enrolled in the Personal Financial Planning Program.

Speaker: Kian Nobari, CIMA®, MBA, MSFP, RLP®, President of IntegrousTM
Kian Nobari, CIMA®, MBA, MSFP, RLP®, president of IntegrousTM, a financial life planning and integrated risk management firm in San Rafael and adjunct professor in the Financial Planning Program at Golden Gate University, will present on "Business Development and Practice Management in Financial Services".
Kian will review the various employment options for financial planners, ideas for building your business, and the benefits of CRM applications. In addition, Kian will share his personal experiences regarding these topics and will answer specific questions from attendees. Even if your specific topic is not listed, plan to attend this session to hear Kian’s experience in launching his practice.
Speaker Biography:
Kian Nobari CIMA®, MBA, MSFP, RLP®, received his B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science and his MBA from MIT. His MS in Real Estate from the MIT Center for Real Estate is pending completion of his thesis. He has received his MS in Financial Planning from Golden Gate University. He holds the Certified Investment Management Consultants Association’s Certified Investment Management Analyst SM and the Kinder Institute of Life Planning’s Registered Life Planner® designations. Kian’s pro bono activities include serving as the director of logistics for the Far West Roundup, an annual educational forum for financial advisers, as well as various committee memberships with the San Francisco chapter of the FPA and the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce.
