The UCSC-extension Student Forum is a unique group organized and managed by the Financial Planning students at the UCSC-extension. The goal of the Forum is to provide students with an opportunity to meet industry professionals, to learn about their future career and to learn ideas about preparing themselves for their careers. The Forum achieves this by holding quarterly meetings during the year where professionals are invited to speak on various topics of interest in a small group setting. The Student Forum is supported by the FPA-Silicon Valley and is open to all students for participation. Though students are encouraged to join the FPA, membership is not required to participate in Student Forum events.
Joining the Student Forum
The Student Forum maintains a distribution list to send out information on upcoming Student forum Events. It is not necessary to be on the distribution list to attend events, but you will be informed on a timely basis of upcoming events. This list is only used to publicize Student Forum and associated events. You can be removed from distribution at any time. If you would like to be added to the distribution list, please send an email to Andrew Nguyen at firstname.lastname@example.org with “Join Student Forum” in the title field. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event!!
