The Career/Practice committee is responsible for managing activities related to FPASV's members' professional training, certifications, employment and placement. 

This committee's organizes professional development opportunities for the members, communicates information about industry events and maintains a listing of currently available job opportunities which might be available to members.   Further, this committee fosters communication between members which would enhance members' management of their own practices and learn the "best practices" of leaders in the field. 

In addition, this committee is chartered with providing information for students who are studying to become a financial planner.  Services to students, who may later become members, might include career counseling, mentoring, internships, or opportunities to participate in chapter networking events.
