Dear FPA members and community,

I am honored to be your 2010 President. My hope is that you are getting the full benefit of your membership. Our goal is to be the premier financial planning resource to the Silicon Valley community. We are a network of caring professionals who have the best interest of our clients and community at heart.

I encourage all to be more involved with the Silicon Valley FPA. Attend one of our meetings, mentor a new planner, serve on a committee. Our meetings provide a great opportunity to network with other planners, keep up to date with timely financial issues and topics, and share best practices. Our pro bono efforts with Junior Achievement, Foster Youth and the Military Programs are top notch and our goal is to let the community know that we are involved and care enough to serve others in need.

My hope is that our organization becomes tighter knit in 2010 and I welcome any ideas that will enhance the chapter as a resource to you.
